Growth prospects for StocKart: SEO, website and digital marketing

StocKart already has the hard parts in place: a low-cost pricing model, a WhatsApp back office and a SEBI-registered brokerage with 13 years of history. This proposal shows how a faster, better-structured website and steady marketing can turn that into more account openings.

Summary

Three areas where StocKart can grow

Your site already gets steady content and has the right products. Three things hold it back: weak search set-up, an older platform that is hard to extend, and almost no visible marketing.

SEO

Fix the technical basics, then build pages around what customers search for: "demat account", "IPO GMP", "stock broker in Lucknow".

Website revamp

Move off PHP 7.4 to a fast, modern build with a clear account-opening path and a page for every product.

Digital marketing

Google Business Profile, reviews, Hindi video, WhatsApp IPO alerts and compliant paid campaigns for new accounts and partners.

What we found

Website review: key findings

We checked the homepage and 11 inner pages, the robots file and both sitemaps on 18 October 2026.

AreaFindingWhy it mattersPriority
PlatformServer reports PHP 7.4.33, which stopped getting security updates in November 2022.Security risk for a site that handles client sign-ups and payments.High
SecurityThe public footer links to Admin, Web Admin, IT Login and IPO Admin pages.Makes back-end login pages easy for attackers to find.High
Meta tagsMost inner pages (About, Services, Contact, Premium, Blog, Calculators) have no meta description. The Contact page's title is "Stock Market Guide".Google writes its own snippets, so fewer people click through from search.High
SitemapThe page sitemap lists 94 URLs, mostly PDFs and ZIP files. The post sitemap lists 21 URLs, while the blog has about 18 pages of posts. Most blog articles aren't submitted to Google, and crawl effort goes to compliance PDFs.High
Structured dataNo schema on the homepage or most pages. Only the IPO GMP and MF pages have it.No FinancialService, Organization, FAQ or Article rich results.Medium
ClaimsThe News page title says "India's biggest stock broker". The Smart Prime page says "Save ₹10,000+/month".Superlatives and savings claims are risky under exchange advertising rules.Medium
Content qualityThe Services page opens with template filler text ("sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose"). The Testimonials section has a heading but no testimonials.Hurts trust with visitors who are about to share their KYC details.Medium
Homepage HTMLTwo canonical tags, a second <title> on the News page, and a generic H1 ("Your Guide to Smarter Investing…").Mixed signals to Google. The H1 doesn't say what StocKart is.Medium
Keyword focusThe homepage targets head terms like "best trading app in India" and "trading".National discount brokers dominate these terms. Local and long-tail terms are easier to win.Medium
Page weightFont Awesome loads three times (6.4.0 twice, plus 6.5.1), along with two separate stylesheets and a chatbot script.Extra requests slow the first load on mobile data.Low
Blog mix73 of the 107 categorised posts are IPO GMP reviews. Only 11 cover demat accounts and 9 cover trading.IPO posts bring short traffic spikes. Evergreen guides keep bringing in new accounts.Low
Opportunity 1

Search engine optimisation

People who search "open demat account" or "[company] IPO GMP" are close to signing up. StocKart already writes this content, but technical gaps stop much of it from ranking.

Current gaps

  • Missing meta descriptions and wrong page titles
  • Sitemap leaves out most blog posts
  • No Organization, FAQ or Article schema
  • No pages for local searches such as "stock broker in Lucknow"
  • No Hindi content, although the audience is largely Hindi-speaking
  • No internal linking between related guides

What we'd do

  • Technical clean-up: titles, descriptions, canonicals, a single H1 per page, an auto-generated sitemap, and a Search Console set-up and audit
  • Schema: FinancialService and Organization (with SEBI and exchange IDs), FAQPage, Article and BreadcrumbList
  • IPO hub: one template per IPO with fixed URLs, live GMP, dates and allotment, linked from a central IPO Centre
  • Evergreen guides: demat, F&O, MTF, commodity and mutual fund topic clusters in English and Hindi
  • Local SEO: a Lucknow page, plus city pages for each AP or branch location
  • Links: listings in broker directories, local news coverage and partner (AP) websites

Expected impact

  • More blog posts indexed and shown with richer search snippets
  • Ranking for long-tail and local searches that national brokers ignore
  • IPO pages that keep their ranking from one issue to the next
  • Steady organic sign-ups that don't depend on ad spend
  • We set a baseline in Search Console in month 1 and report clicks, rankings and sign-ups every month
Opportunity 2

Website revamp

The current site works, but it runs on an unsupported PHP version, mixes compliance links with marketing content, and has no single clear path to open an account. The concept demo shows the direction.

Current gaps

  • PHP 7.4 (end of life), custom code that's hard to extend
  • Duplicate libraries and stylesheets
  • Account-opening calls to action are spread across many buttons and pop-ups
  • No individual product pages for F&O, commodity or currency
  • No customer proof: reviews and testimonials are empty
  • Admin links are public

What we'd do

  • New build on a modern, supported stack with a CMS, so your team can publish blog and IPO posts without a developer
  • Clear structure: Invest, Pricing, IPO Centre, Learn and Partner, with compliance documents kept in a dedicated Investor Services area
  • One account-opening flow linked to your existing e-KYC (meon) journey, with drop-off tracked at every step
  • Interactive tools: a brokerage and Smart Prime calculator, plus margin, SIP and IPO lot calculators
  • Hindi version of key pages
  • Security and speed: PHP 8.3 or newer, hidden admin routes, optimised images and Core Web Vitals checked before launch

Expected impact

  • A site that looks as credible as national brokers' sites, from a Lucknow brand
  • Fewer visitors drop off between the landing page and completed KYC
  • Faster loading on mobile data
  • Lower security and maintenance risk
  • Your team publishes content the same day, without waiting for a developer
Opportunity 3

Digital marketing

StocKart has Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and YouTube links on the site, but no ongoing campaign we could see. A small, regular, compliant marketing programme can produce both new clients and new AP partners.

Current gaps

  • We couldn't confirm a Google Business Profile or any Google reviews
  • No customer reviews on the site
  • No regular video content in Hindi
  • No follow-up for people who start sign-up and don't finish
  • The partner (AP) programme isn't promoted

What we'd do

  • Google Business Profile: claim it, optimise it, post weekly and run a review drive with existing clients
  • Content calendar: Hindi reels and Shorts on IPOs, F&O basics and Smart Prime, posted 3–4 times a week
  • WhatsApp channel for IPO alerts and market-open updates
  • Paid campaigns on Google Search and Meta for account opening and AP recruitment, using exchange-approved creatives
  • Lead nurture: WhatsApp and email reminders for incomplete KYC
  • Local events: investor-awareness sessions in Lucknow and AP cities

Expected impact

  • Visible in Google Maps for local searches
  • More trust from real reviews
  • A measurable cost per account opened, tracked in GA4
  • A steady flow of new AP and franchise enquiries
  • A monthly report on spend, leads, completed KYCs and funded accounts

Compliance: Stockbroker advertisements must follow SEBI and exchange advertising rules, which can include exchange approval before release. We draft all ad and social copy for your compliance officer to review and get approved where needed. We don't make performance or return promises, and we don't use unregistered "finfluencers".
